Description

This is a group of three 18th-century buildings, 14, 15, and 16 Steeple End. Originally listed as numbers 14 and 15, and separately as number 16 (Steeple End Cottage), they form part of a larger group of buildings including The Old Almshouses and numbers 1 to 17 Church Farm Lane, located in a prominent position opposite the Church of St Mary.

Numbers 15 and 16 were originally built as a pair. Number 14 has a rendered and lined facade, with brick toothed eaves and a lower roof. It features a five-light casement window on each floor. The entrance is topped with a segmental head.

The interior of number 16 retains some original features, including fairly heavy stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops, exposed joists, and wide-boarded doors fitted with H hinges and straps.
