Description

No 1 Church Farm Lane is a 18th-century building that has been altered and features two storeys with a pebble dash exterior. It has a toothed red brick eaves band and a steep pantiled roof. The north side has one window on the first floor, and there are three-light flush frame casements at each floor. The entrance consists of a four-panel door set in an older frame. There is a wing to the south that includes a gabled porch. Inside, there is a wide cased beam. This building, along with The Old Almshouses at No 1 Church Farm Lane and Nos 14 to 17, forms a group located in a significant position opposite the Church of St Mary.
