Description

Champion's Windmill is the base of a smock mill built around 1800. It is constructed of red brick that has been tarred, featuring yellow stock battlements. The structure is octagonal in shape with a gently battered base and stands one storey tall, topped with battlements that are adorned with carved eagles. There is a doorway with a double segmental head and a wood casement window above it. No machinery remains inside, and the interior is roofed. This building is included for its group value.
