Description

Clare Cottage is an 18th-century house located on the east side of Rawling Street in Milstead. It features a distinctive chequered pattern of red and blue brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high with stacks that project at both the left and right ends. On the first floor, there are three wooden casement windows, while the ground floor has two, both with brick lintels. A central boarded door is set within a gabled porch. There is a 20th-century extension to the left of the original structure.
