Description

The Old Rectory is a house built in 1834, constructed of painted brick with a slate roof. It has two storeys and a hipped roof, featuring projecting hipped wings and three chimney stacks at the rear. On the first floor, there are four glazing bar sash windows with shutters, while each wing has one ground floor window with gauged heads and blind hoods. The centre of the house has two traceried French doors, which are sheltered by a wrought iron verandah supported by four trellised piers with a pierced floriate frieze. A later 19th-century service wing is located at the rear.
