Description
Valley Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 16th century and early 19th century. It features a red brick exterior and a plain tiled roof, with timber-framed rear ranges that have red brick infill. The building is two storeys high and has paired modillion brackets at the eaves of its hipped roof, with stacks located on both the left and right sides. The front has a regular arrangement of windows, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all featuring gauged heads. The central entrance door has six panels, with the top two being glazed, and is topped by a flat hood supported by brackets and pilasters. The rear ranges reveal the exposed timber frame, and the interior showcases visible rear framing with moulded beams and joists.
