Description

Crooked Cottage is a house dating from the 15th century. It has a timber frame that is exposed in one bay, with painted brick infill, while the rest of the building is clad in painted brick. The roof is plain tiled, featuring one storey and an attic, set on a plinth. The roof is gabled to the left and hipped to the right, with two raking dormers and a central chimney stack. The cottage has five wooden casement windows and a boarded door located to the centre right, which is topped with a flat hood. There is a 20th-century addition to the left end bay.
