Description
The Post Office and Whitings House is a building that dates back to the 15th century and is currently divided into two houses. It features a timber frame that is exposed, with painted brick infill. Part of the building is clad in painted brick, while another part is weather boarded, topped with a plain tiled roof. The structure has two storeys and a hipped roof with gablets, along with a projecting hip on the right side. There are stacks located at the centre and to the right of the building. On the first floor, there is a five-light wooden casement window to the left and a three-light wooden casement window on the ground floor, along with a single wooden casement window to the right. The left side has a boarded door, while the right side features a four-panel door. Additionally, there are outshots to both the left and right of the building.
