Description
South Hill Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century. It is timber framed and clad with painted brick and weatherboard, topped with a plain tiled roof. The structure features three framed bays and stands two storeys tall on a plinth, with a hipped roof and a stack located at the left centre. On the first floor, there are three wooden casements, and there are three more on the ground floor, all with segmental heads. To the left, there is a boarded door with a flat hood supported by brackets. A 20th-century outshot has been added to the left side. Inside, the farmhouse was originally continuously jettied, and a dragon beam remains visible.
