Description

Forge House is a 17th-century house that features a timber frame, which is clad with painted brick and pebbledash, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys with a hipped roof that slopes to the right. There are chimney stacks located at the left end and a projecting stack at the right end. Each floor has two sash windows, and there is a half-glazed door located to the centre right, which is accessed through a 20th-century porch. To the left, there is an outshot that contains one glazing bar sash window. At the rear, there is an integral forge housing within a catslide outshot. This building is included for its group value.
