Description

This is a 17th-century house and cottage located on London Road in Teynham. The building is timber-framed. The ground floor on the right side is clad with weatherboard and pebble-dash, while the first floor is tile-hung. The roof is tiled, with a half-hipped shape and a central stack; the roof to the right has a lower pitch. The windows include wood casements and one glazing bar sash window on the first floor, and one wood casement, one octagonal bay window, and one glazing bar sash window on the ground floor. A 20th-century plank and stud door is centrally placed, and a four-panel door with a flat hood is positioned on the right.
