Description

Else's Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse with alterations. It is two storeys high and has three windows. The roof is tiled and hipped, with end chimneys. The exterior is red brick, decorated with a pattern of blue headers, a diagonal brick eaves cornice, and a band marking the first floor. The windows are mostly 19th century: single-bar casements on the first floor and two-light sashes on the ground floor. A four-panel door, with a glazed upper portion, is set within a gabled, 19th-century wooden porch. Rear extensions of a similar period are also present. The farmhouse is part of a group with its barn and outbuildings.
