Description

Hale Oak Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse, and possibly incorporates older fabric. It is a two-storey and attic building with three windows. The roof is steeply pitched and tiled, featuring two hipped gabled dormers. Large, projecting end chimneys are present, with stone bases. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is red brick with a diaper pattern made of blue headers. A plinth is constructed of large coursed freestone. The windows are replaced sashes with glazing bars; those on the first floor are in exposed frames and those on the ground floor are set within segmental brick arches. A plank front door is topped by a rectangular fanlight with bars. Lower timber-framed rear extensions are visible at the rear of the property.
