Alms Row Cottages is a mid-19th century, two-storey building located at the end of Alms Row, featuring a passageway through to the rear. It has a high-pitched, gable-ended tiled roof. The first floor is decorated with fancy half-timbering and plaster filling, along with a five-light casement window. The ground floor is constructed of red brick and includes two square bays with a centrally located flush boarded door, all sheltered by a long, pent tiled hood.
