Description
White Hart Cottages is a row of 19th century cottages that incorporate older framed structures. The cottages are two storeys high and have a total of 11 windows. They feature a high-pitched, hipped tiled roof and ornamental tile hanging on the first floor. The central gable projects and has an overhanging first floor. The ground floor is rendered with brick and stone plinths. Most windows are 19th century three-light casements, including four ground floor oriel windows that have tiled hoods. The doors are boarded and located under small pent tiled hoods, although Nos 1 and 6 now have half-glazed doors. The side and rear walls reveal older rubble masonry. There are two end projecting diagonal chimneys and two ridge stacks, as well as a gabled dormer on No 2.
