Description
The Central Warehouse building at Horton Kirby Paper Mills is a warehouse constructed around 1870-1880. It is made of stock brick with red brick dressings and features a slate roof with a sawtooth cornice. The building is two storeys high and consists of two parallel ranges. On the first floor, there are 17 round-headed windows with fixed metal casements, each having central opening lights, along with a door on the left side that has a round-headed fanlight. The ground floor includes eight large round-headed windows. Inside, the ground floor has eight round-headed bays, while the first floor features a roof supported by a scientific king post.
