Description
Love Lane Warehouses is a warehouse built around 1830 and later. It features English bond brick with an ashlar basement and dressings, topped with a felt-covered roof. The building has a basement and five storeys, comprising 13 bays. There are partly bricked-up loading bays located in the fourth and tenth bays, which are set under low-pitched gables. The first bay includes a vehicle entrance with voussoirs and a segmental arch, along with a boarded door set in a deep reveal. The windows have segmental brick arches and projecting stone sills, with horizontal sliding sashes that include vertical glazing bars and overlapping panes. The right corner of the building is rounded, and there is a tall, round ashlar-corniced steam mill chimney, which is a later 19th-century addition.
