Description

Mortimer's Warehouse is a warehouse built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with a pantiled roof and has a rectangular plan. The building stands three storeys high and features six bays arranged in a 2:1:3 pattern. There is a carriage entrance beneath a segmental arch, which has been partly infilled in the late 19th century and includes a double boarded door. All other openings are fitted with square pivoted boarded shutters set under segmental arches. The building has paired eaves brackets and plain close verges. A painted panel between the first and second floors extends from the second to the sixth bay, displaying the name 'Mortimer's Warehouse'.
