Description
The Tiger Inn is a public house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick, which has been whitewashed, and features stone dressings and a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and has three bays. To the left, there is a six-panel door with a rectangular fanlight that includes glazing bars, set within a doorcase that has fluted pilasters. To the right, there are double boarded doors leading to a segmental-arched carriage entrance. The centre bay has a 20th-century shop front. On the first floor, there are 16-pane sash windows with stone sills and cambered wedge lintels on both the right and left sides, while the centre has a blocked opening with a stone sill and a cambered wedge lintel. The second floor features similar 8-pane sash windows. The building has end stacks and plain close verges.
