Description
Leigh Park Farmhouse is probably of 17th century origin, with evidence of two or more building phases. The front of the house, facing Leigh Coppings Road, has two storeys and three windows. A central hipped gable is a prominent feature. The roof is steeply pitched and tiled, with a half-hipped section to the left. To the right, the first floor is tile-hung while the ground floor is brick. The left-hand portion of the house has been entirely rebuilt in brick. 19th-century casement windows are present, one featuring ornamental ironwork. A plank front door is sheltered by an undercornice hood. An older rear wing extends to meet the hipped front gable.
