Description

Greenacres is an early 20th-century building located on Leigh Philpots Road. The front range features tile hanging and brickwork beneath two large gables, which conceal a three-bay house from the 16th or early 17th century. The building has two storeys with an irregular arrangement of three and four windows. It has a high-pitched tiled roof that extends to the right, incorporating a compound chimney stack. The first floor is tile hung while the ground floor is brick. The left bay is an extension that matches the original design. The modern windows are leaded casements. Inside, the building showcases exposed beams and joists, along with a restored inglenook fireplace.
