Description
The terrace walls and gates located to the northwest of Hall Place are listed as a building of special architectural interest. These structures date from around 1872 and consist of walls that surround a wide grass terrace situated between the house and the lake. The walls are partly made of stone-coped brick and partly of pierced stone, which is likely from the late 19th century. To the north, there is a large pair of gateposts that support wrought iron double gates. The terrace walls and gates, along with the terrace walls and steps to the northeast, the estate office and workshop block, the stable block, and the garden walls, form a cohesive group of structures.
