Description
Chine Farmhouse is a house with an 18th-century facade built on an older core. It was originally two cottages. The house is two storeys high with three windows. It has a fairly pitched roof, half-hipped on the right side, with a front that has been renewed with machine tiles, though old tiles remain at the rear. The walls are of flush flint rubble, with red brick window dressings, quoins, a string course, and lacing courses. The openings have segmental arches with alternating headers and stretchers, with the outer headers in blue. The windows are 19th-century sash and casement types. A mid-19th century gabled brick porch is present. A left-hand bay is an extension, tile-hung on the first floor.
