Description
The Grange is an early 19th-century building located on Chevening Lane in Knockholt. It is constructed from red brick with grey headers and features a central section flanked by two wings. The central part has three storeys and three windows, with one window bay on each side that slightly projects and has two storeys. A prominent portico with eight Ionic columns and an iron railing sits in front of the ground floor of the central section, which also includes two Venetian windows behind the columns. The wings are two storeys high and each has three windows. The building is topped with a slate roof that has three hips, and the glazing bars are intact. Additionally, there is one round-headed window on the first floor on each side of the central section.
