Description

Thornes is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall and features three windows. It is constructed of red brick with grey headers and has a string course along its facade. The building is topped with a slate roof and has an eaves cornice with modillions. The windows retain their original glazing bars. The entranceway is distinguished by Doric pilasters and a pediment, with a blocked semi-circular fanlight above a door made up of six fielded panels.
