Description
Castle House is an early 19th-century Gothick house located on the north-west side of Knockholt Main Road. The building is two storeys high and features five windows. The left bay has a segmental bow. It has a low-pitched, hipped slate roof and the front is made of Roman cement, topped with a battlemented parapet and a brick plinth. On the first floor, there are recessed sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has similar windows with vertical bars. The bow contains a round-headed sash window. The entrance features a five-panel door, with the top panel being glazed, set in a panelled reveal with a reeded architrave, all beneath a leaded cornice hood.
