Description
North Hill is an early 19th-century house with an irregular plan and two storeys, constructed from rubble and featuring Gothick design elements. The slate roof has scalloped eaves in the center and a carved bargeboard on the right-hand gabled section. In the center, there are two tall fixed-light pointed arch windows with Gothick glazing. To the right, there is a range of four-light moulded mullion windows with moulded cornices and a shaped tablet in the gable. The gabled porch has a chamfered four-centred outer opening and a finial. The slate roof includes a stepped base for a stunted chimney on the south side. The left part of the building is a later two-storey wing with four windows that extends towards the road. The staircase inside features a double rail and balustrades with a foiled pattern.
