Description

No. 9 North Parade is an early 19th-century building that has a cement-rendered exterior and features chamfered quoins. It stands three storeys tall and has three windows, which are sashes set in reeded frames. The entrance has a modern central door flanked by sidelights. Inside, there are several early 19th-century fittings, including a staircase with a curved return to the handrail at the base and enriched segmental arches in both front rooms on the ground floor. The fittings are reportedly made from mahogany sourced from dye crates.
