Brownstone and Garth ST 7748 SE 5/415 and Boundary Walls to Road II

  1. A typical example of early-Victorian semi-detached pair. 2 storeys, rubble with channelled quoins having bracket capping, ashlar dressings. Dentil cornice. Blocking course, pierced above windows. 1 + 1 windows each, outer bays set back with entrance, arched window above entrance with pierced stone balcony. Inner windows on 1st floor Venetian with depressed head, ground floor tripartite with segmental head. Marginally glazed sash windows. Verandah to ground floor with pierced wooden balustrade. Low single storey extensions to each side. Coursed rubble street wall with moulded segmental capping. Garth has pedimented entrance with ashlar piers and 6 panel wooden gate (upper 3 in perforated metal).
