Description
This building is an early Victorian semi-detached pair located on Welshmill Road. It is two storeys high and constructed from rubble with channelled quoins that have bracket capping and ashlar dressings. The building features a dentil cornice and a blocking course, with pierced detailing above the windows. Each side has one window on the ground floor and one on the first floor, with the outer bays set back and an entrance that includes an arched window above it, complete with a pierced stone balcony. The inner windows on the first floor are Venetian with a depressed head, while the ground floor windows are tripartite with a segmental head. The windows are marginally glazed sash types. There is a verandah on the ground floor with a pierced wooden balustrade, and low single-storey extensions are present on each side. The coursed rubble street wall features a moulded segmental capping. The Garth has a pedimented entrance with ashlar piers and a six-panel wooden gate, with the upper three panels made of perforated metal.
