Description

Church Farmhouse is an 18th-century house, originally two cottages, with an extension from the early 19th century. The walls are brick, with rendering on the later, taller section, and the roof is thatched. The house has two storeys and five windows on the front, with one window above three windows, and three windows on the other side. The roof is hipped, with higher eaves on the east side and low eaves above an outshot on the west. The brickwork is in a Flemish bond pattern, using blue bricks as headers, and the ground-floor openings are cambered. The windows are casements, with sash windows in the later section. There is a simple doorway with a tiled canopy supported by posts. Rear extensions include a single-storey section and an attic.
