Description

The mausoleum located to the east of the south-east corner of the Church of St Mary in Chiddingstone was designed in 1736 by Henry Streatfeild for his family. This small building is constructed of coursed ashlar and features curved diagonal buttresses that extend to ball finials at the angles of the entablature. It has a pyramidal stone roof, which is also topped with a ball finial.
