Description
The building comprises two adjoining barns located to the east of Great Barnetts. The north-eastern portion is a late 16th-century, three-bay threshing barn. It is weatherboarded above a foundation of rubble and brick, and has a tiled roof that was originally hipped at one end, but is now gabled. It features tall, opposing doors. Inside, the barn has stout timber framing with large arch-braces and a queen-post roof with wind braces to purlines. Adjacent to the southwest is another three-bay barn of similar construction and materials, with one door and a rebuilt roof. This barn is likely slightly later in date.
