Old Wood Cottage is a 17th or earlier timber-framed building located on The Green in Leigh. It is a two-storey, four-window cottage with a high-pitched tiled roof and end chimneys that have offsets. The building is weatherboarded and features 19th-century casement windows with leaded diamond panes. A boarded door is sheltered by a pent roof.
