Description

Dormer Cottage is a 16th century or earlier timber-framed house, which may have originally been a one-ended hall or a hall with one end removed. The building has two storeys and features four windows in the hall. It has a high-pitched tiled roof with rebuilt ridge stacks and one dormer. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is timber framed with red brick filling. The left bay of No 10 is an addition made from the same materials. The windows include 19th century and modern casements. Inside, there are inglenooks and exposed beams.
