Description

Chippens Bank is a 16th century timber-framed house, possibly originally a hall, that has been modernized. The entrance front has two storeys and features four windows. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is made of brick and includes modern canted bay windows. The house has a high-pitched tiled roof with the ends cut off at the hips. There is a lean-to extension on the left side and a two-storey, blank, double-span extension on the right with half-hipped tiled roofs. The windows are modern square parted casements, and there is a gabled porch.
