Description

The Old Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier, with a refacing from the 19th century. It has two stories and features four windows. The roof is half hipped and tiled, with a rebuilt ridge stack. The first floor is adorned with decorative tile hanging, while the ground floor is made of painted brick. There is a red brick plinth with a pattern of blue headers. The windows are small modern leaded casements, and there is a modern door situated under a hipped, tiled hood. Inside, the house has stout chamfered beams and a restored inglenook fireplace. To the left, there is a timber-framed lean-to. The Old Farmhouse is part of a group that includes the Oast, the Barn, and the Shed.
