Description

The Oast at Newhouse Farm is a pair of oasts and a drying shed built in the mid-19th century. Constructed from red brick featuring a pattern of blue headers, the drying shed has a high-pitched, half-hipped tiled roof and consists of one storey with an attic. It has four bays and two gabled dormers. The oasts are topped with conical tiled roofs and wooden cowls. This building is part of a group that includes Newhouse Farmhouse, the oast group, the barn, and the shed. The address will be updated to read: "The Oast", Newhouse Farm.
