Description
Old Manor Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier and has been altered over time. The building features a timber frame that was refronted in 19th-century colourwashed brick, topped with an old tiled roof that is half hipped at the west end. A large chimney stack is located to the left of the centre, opposite the door, and has three square shafts with a corbelled head, while a second chimney with a corbelled head is on the right.
The house is two storeys high, and the south front has four bays. The ground floor has modern four-light transomed casements, with a door located in the second bay from the left. Above, there is a two-light casement under the eaves. Three half dormers break the eaves, each featuring three-light casements with flat lead roofs. Additionally, there is a three-light upper window below the eaves in the right bay. Inside, the farmhouse includes open fireplaces and exposed ceiling beams.
