Description
Upper Farmhouse is a house from the 17th century that has been altered and extended. It features a timber frame that is exposed at the rear, with brick infill, while the front has been refaced in 18th-century brick. The building has an old tiled roof and a large chimney stack to the left of the center, opposite the front door, which has a corbelled head. There is also a later chimney on the right gable.
The house is two stories tall and has a front elevation with four bays, with the right part being an addition. The front includes four three-light upper casements, a six-panel door with a small hood located in the second bay from the left, and a four-light casement on the left with a segmental arched head. To the right, there is a four-light square bay window with a lean-to tiled roof, along with two two-light casements that also have segmental arched heads. At the back, there is a small gabled two-story wing with exposed timber framing.
