Description

Rose Cottage, also known as The Well Cottage, is likely of 16th-century origin. It is a two-storey, three-window building. The ground floor features half-timbering with brick infilling, while the upper floor is tile-hung, with a hip gable to the right side adorned with 19th-century ornamental bargeboards. Casement windows are present. The roof is tiled with a hip design, and a central chimney has been partly rebuilt. Rose Cottage, along with The Well Cottage, Castle Bank, and Fairway, forms a group.
