Description

65-67 High Street is a 16th-century timber-framed hall house that has been altered and now stands as a two-storey building with a tiled roof. It has a long, low outline with a projecting wing at each end, and the right-hand wing is gabled. Number 65 is much altered and reduced, featuring one window. Number 67 is four windows wide and includes a bay window on the first floor to the right. The first floor is finished in painted brick and stucco, with sliding casements. There is a 19th-century shopfront on the right side, while the remainder of the building dates from the 20th century.
