Description

The Parish Church of St Margaret is a building of group value, dating largely from the 18th and 19th centuries. The church’s tower is of the 15th century, but was significantly renovated in the 19th century. The main body of the church was rebuilt around 1764/5 and then substantially rebuilt again around 1845. It is constructed of brick and has a cruciform plan with aisles. The windows are in the Perpendicular style. Monuments and fittings are present, and details are recorded in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments.
