Description

Brook Cottage is a small, three-bay timber-framed house dating from the first half of the 16th century. It has two storeys and features a high-pitched tiled roof with end stacks, one of which is large and has offsets. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor displays visible stout posts with painted brick filling. The windows are a mix of 19th-century and modern casements, and there are modern rear extensions. Inside, the house retains stout timbers with diagonal braces.
