Description
This is a picturesque group of oast houses and a drying shed situated to the south of Larkins Farm. The drying shed is formed from a C17 or earlier weather-boarded barn, which has a high-pitched tiled roof and an oast inserted at its north end, topped with a cowl rising through the roof. A brick link connects the barn to two oasts dating from the early to mid-19th century located at the south end. Two further oasts are attached to the west side. The oasts themselves are constructed of red brick, featuring dentil eaves cornices, tiled roofs, and wooden cowls. A pent shelter shed, partly filled in with weatherboarding, runs along the north end of the barn and around its east corner.
