Description

The Thatched Cottage is a 16th-century building consisting of two sections, featuring thatched roofs and rendered walls. It has one storey and an attic, with a single-window end facing the road. At the road end, there is a random stone addition with a hipped tiled roof and an old stack. There are brick lean-to additions on the side, which also have another stack. The cottage includes various casement windows and two plain boarded doors. Inside, there are two inglenooks, one of which has been filled in, along with much exposed timber.
