Topford Cottage is a 16th-century building with modern alterations. It has two storeys and features irregular window placements. The cottage is topped with a thatched roof and has a shafted stack. The exterior showcases exposed massive timber-framing with red brick infill. Modern casement windows and a thatched porch have been added.
