The Old Cottage is a 16th century timber-framed building that has been restored and enlarged. It features plaster infilling and curved braces on the first floor, while the ground floor has been rebuilt in brick. The cottage has a tiled roof and includes modern casement windows and a porch. It stands two storeys tall and has four windows. There are also modern additions to the west and north sides of the building.
