Description

Old Comptons is a 16th-century timber-framed cottage that has been enlarged. It is a two-storey building with three windows. The ground floor has been rebuilt in brick, with plaster infilling above the timber frame. The roof is covered with Horsham slabs and fish-scale tiles are present on the side walls. The first floor has original casement windows, some with diamond panes, and one is an oriel window projecting on brackets. A modern porch and wings have been added to the north-west and south-east sides.
