Description
Blatchford House is a mid to late 19th-century building located on Kings Road. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring three windows. The exterior is stuccoed with a slate roof, and there is one centrally-placed dormer that has barge-boards and a gable designed like an open pediment. The eaves are overhanging, and there are pilasters at the corners and flanking the windows. A string course and a plinth are present as well. The windows are sash with intact glazing bars. The house has a projecting narrow porch with an entablature supported by side walls and Doric columns. Access to the door is via four steps, and the door is a six-panel design with the upper four panels glazed, topped by a rectangular fanlight.
