Description

Church Cottage, also known as Ghyll Cottage, is a 16th-century timber-framed building of two storeys and four windows, situated on the east side of Hever Road. The building has a high-pitched tiled roof with rebuilt stacks. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is faced with 19th-century red brick laid in a diaper pattern using blue headers. The windows are a mix of 19th and modern casements. The ground floor has two square bays. A modern door is set within a gabled porch. A passageway runs through the centre of the building.
